Financial Aid for Graduate Studies

You are already aware of the numerous sources of financial support for undergraduate study. There are a number of types of financial aid available for graduate students as well. The biggest difference between aid available for college, and what's available for graduate school, is that financial need is usually no longer a factor. Most of the aid is based on merit and usually takes the form of outside scholarships, loans, tuition reductions, and/or some sort of work study programs, such as employment as a teaching or research assistant.
